The At Peace Hospice Care Foundation was formed as a method to accept donations made on behalf of hospice patients and hospice care in general.
The At Peace Hospice Care Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation that advocates for patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families through public outreach, education and research. We are committed to improving end-of-life care and expanding access to hospice and palliative care with the goal of profoundly enhancing the quality of life for people who are suffering, and for their families and loved ones.
Created in 2008, we are governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees composed of hospice professionals and community members from across the Southeast. All trustees serve without compensation for their time or expenses.
At Peace Hospice Care Foundation Mission & Vision
- Develop and organize fundraising efforts aimed at benefiting hospice patients who require end-of-life care
- Promote and provide community education projects to increase awareness of palliative care options in end-of-life care
- Provide programs that fill the special needs of specific patients and families facing a life-limiting illness
